The wedding was a beautiful whirlwind and it does go by so fast (but in the best way). When we got our pictures from Sophie we were able to look back on that day and re-live those special moments. We have looked at them again and again, finding infiniteness in each capture. Sophie gave us that gift- the gift of memories that will last a lifetime. One of our favorite things about Sophie’s captures is we are able to see our wedding breathing on its own while we were busy doing bride and groom things- conversations between our friends, laughter shared with family, the flowers sitting delicately in their vases, the warm glow of the candles on the tables, different vantage points of our first dance, and just the overall energy of such a special day. She got it all.

When I began my search for a wedding photographer and came across Sophie’s website, I was so taken with the beauty of her photos that she immediately became one of my top choices. After I reached out to her I knew right away I wanted to hire her. She was very responsive, organized and personable and I could really sense her passion for her job. We quickly hired her to take our engagement and wedding photos. For our engagement photos we wanted pictures along the river walk. She picked all the best spots to provide beautiful backdrops for our photos. She also made us feel very at ease with getting professional photos done. The pictures turned out gorgeous and we were so happy with them! On our wedding day, Sophie did a fantastic job. She has a great eye and captured so many special moments from our big day. We found Sophie at a friend's wedding. Their photographs for the event were gorgeous and Sophie had stopped us during the cocktail hour for a couple's portrait that came out great. So, she was a definite pick for us when it came to planning our wedding.
We booked with her in the fall of 2019, and through the entirety of Covid uncertainty she remained in touch and adaptive with us as we navigated all of the changes the pandemic brought around.
And she was incredible to work with on the day of. Organized, patient, creative, and just as excited as we were. She made us feel comfortable and made sure every detail in the pictures was thought of and attended to.
We honestly can't recommend Sophie highly enough. It's rare to find genuine, kind people who excel at what they do. But Sophie is one of them. She delivered fantastic photos and helped make the process of capturing those moments easy and fun. We loved having her around for the wedding day!

Sophie was absolutely incredible to work with! Sophie was so creative and thoughtful from the first meeting to our wedding day! She came up with creative ideas on where to take engagement pictures and made us feel incredibly comfortable, even though we aren't exactly naturals in front of the camera ha. She made us laugh and had a great sense of humor! We postponed our wedding due to COVID and she was supportive and understanding throughout it all. On the wedding day she was so calm and came up with a terrific plan for pictures when the rain messed up our original plan. She took charge and made sure that we took pictures in multiple locations with many different ideas and poses. She was encouraging, asked us how we're doing, and had terrific tips. We also have a huge family that wasn't easy to get together, but she calmly organized it so we got all the shots we wanted. We really appreciate that Sophie sent the preview pictures, reel, and free video by noon the day after our wedding! We absolutely love the pictures in the preview and can't wait to see the rest! I can not recommend Sophie highly enough! She is absolutely outstanding. She is quick to respond, easy to work with, flexible, and takes incredibly beautiful pictures. Unfortunately due to Covid-19, our initially planned wedding was cancelled, and she was incredibly supportive and flexible with our needs, even offering to return our deposit (which many other vendors were not willing to do). Ultimately, we opted for a small intimate wedding via zoom, and Sophie took pictures for us before and during the ceremony. Not only did she take amazing photos (I can't stop looking at them!), but she also went above and beyond, and helped me lay out the room to set the stage for the zoom wedding, which was certainly not in her job description. She doubled as a mini-wedding planner! I highly recommend Sophie without any reservations, and I will certainly be using her again for future events.

I don't have enough good things to say about Sophie - we love her so much! There are honestly so many choices out there for photographers, and I cannot stress enough how glad I am that we chose her! When choosing wedding vendors, the photographer was the most important to me, so I did endless amounts of research. So far, she has done our engagement shoot, our wedding photos and even an adorable shoot for our new puppy - all in which she was so professional and amazing and we couldn't be happier with the photos. Sophie is a really wonderful person and talented photographer. Many of her photos are stunning works of art! Leading up to the wedding, she was very responsive, supportive and flexible. She took time to meet us at our venue for the final walk through to familiarize herself with it, even though that wasn't in her contract and remained flexible when we had last minute timeline changes due to rain (and going so far as providing various ideas for rain contingency photo location ideas, herself). Then, on the wedding day, she was punctual, discrete and kind. She remained calm despite unpleasant weather and slight traffic delays and captured many stunning photos - both of the ceremony/reception space and of candid special moments shared between us and with our guests. Her second shooter was also great and worked well with the guys. We will treasure our photos forever!
